3R offers a TaqMan RT-PCR assay for the detection of Beet Curly Top Virus (BCTV) in plant tissue. The assay is a multiplexed RT-PCR whereby more than one target is detected in the same reaction. Multiplexing allows us to detect parts of the TSV genome while simultaneously detecting an internal target plant RNA to confirm the integrity of the sample and PCR reaction.
